– Lingard added that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best players in the world – Ronaldo played for Man United between 2003 and 2009 before he joined Real Madrid Manchester United star Jesse Lingard has made it clear that he would love the club’s chiefs to bring Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford this summer.

The Red Devils are currently fighting to finish among the top four teams this season in the Premier League after been sent out of the Champions League by Barcelona.

And while arriving at Manchester United’s training ground on Thursday morning, May 2, Lingard explained that he wants Cristiano Ronaldo to return to the club. Cristiano Ronaldo who is currently playing for Juventus played for Manchester United between 2003 and 2009 before he joined Spanish side Real Madrid.

I would love Man United to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. He has been one of the best players in the world over the last decade. He has been here before so he would slot right back in.

Growing up he was just unbelievable to watch in a United shirt, so on a personal note it would be amazing to play with him,” Lingard told Mirror UK.

Jesse Lingard is expected to be in Manchester United’s squad for their clash with Huddersfield this weekend in the Premier League.
