In the 54th minute, Salomon Rondon equalized for Newcastle after Liverpool failed to clear their lines properly to make it 2-2.
Salah was stretched off after he sustained an injury which could keep him out in the Champions League game against Barcelona and their final league match with Wolves.
Substitute, Divock Origi scored the winner in the 85th minute as the Merseyside take three valuable points to their last game of the season against Wolves.
